LINE MAN Wongnai has announced its acquisition of JERA Cloud, a Thai startup specializing in cloud-based and point-of-sale (POS) solutions for the beauty and wellness industry.
This acquisition represents the company’s first step in expanding its Merchant Digital Solutions portfolio beyond the restaurant sector, opening doors to high-growth markets.
JERA Cloud, a division of Lamunpun IT Company Limited, has been operating for eight years, offering cloud and POS solutions tailored to the beauty and wellness market. The company has established itself as a market leader, serving over 1,700 outlets across Thailand, including prominent clients such as Aura Bangkok Clinic (20 branches) and Teeth Talk Dental Clinic (19 branches).
Through this acquisition, Wongnai POS can now broaden its services beyond restaurants into adjacent sectors like beauty and wellness, with Thailand emerging as a key hub for these industries.
LINE MAN Wongnai CEO Yod Chinsupakul told Bangkok Post that the delivery giant’s decision to acquire JERA Cloud was driven by several factors, including its leading position in beauty and wellness business solutions and the strong vision of its founding team.
“This acquisition is a strategic move to expand our Merchant Digital Solutions into the booming beauty and wellness sector. It also marks LINE MAN Wongnai’s entry into new service verticals, aligning with our mission to Digitalise Thailand,” he said.
Ekaluck Viriyakovithya, Managing Director of Merchant Digital Solutions at LINE MAN Wongnai, added that the beauty and wellness market is experiencing rapid growth.
